The momondo trainee programme, set in the heart of Copenhagen, Denmark, is designed to educate and enable the next generation of momondians.

The unique programme lasts six months and includes mix of theoretical training and hands-on work. From day one, you will be assigned to a specific position, which will be your playground for the following months.

A unique programme

Our trainee programme consists of several modules encompassing a wide variety of online marketing disciplines. Together, these will enable you to become a highly skilled online marketer, capable of navigating the complex, multifaceted and fast-changing digital environment.

The training will familiarise you with essential marketing discipline platforms crucial in the momondo marketing toolbox – such as Google AdWords, Yandex and Bing. You will also be involved in hands-on tasks at momondo, while under the supervision of an assigned mentor.

In combination with your position-specific training, you’ll gain valuable insight into the world of PR, affiliate marketing, business intelligence and user feedback management.

I started at momondo two and a half years ago as an Online marketing trainee – and that was the best thing so far for my career. The trainee programme provided me with a steep learning curve from the get-go as I was trained in different sides of online marketing. I was part of the original group of 10 joining the trainee programme back in January 2013, and amongst the first 30 employees ever to work at momondo. We came from a broad and diverse background of 10 different nationalities from all around the world.

It was very exciting to be part of the vast international growth that momondo was due to embark upon. The programme was mainly focused upon giving us the tools we required to work within online marketing, and the strategic mindset on how to best invest for profitable growth. The main difference compared to other trainee programmes was that I was given ownership and responsibilities of the market performance (Sweden in my case) and that the top management trusted us with our investments in the market from an extremely early stage.

We operate with a scalable business model and today we are in more than 35 markets – an expansion kick-started by our trainee programmeme back in 2013. We have great in-house marketing skills and combined with local knowledge and talented employees we believe our trainee programme continues to add value to our business and organisation.

In other words: We have the product and the marketing skills which we pass on to our fast learning trainees. They, after just six months, are ready to take on greater responsibilities and support the activities we have in the different markets – and of course, all this is executed as true momondians, with tonnes of courage, action and love.
